Drove down airport road for an ice-cream. Passed the last stretch of the airport. Witnessed a quite skyline, a barren flying strip and no improvement in traffic :).
15 long years in this part of town; I miss the sound of planes taking-off and landing. I miss being 'close-to-the-airport' *sigh*.

why is there a smile after no improvement in traffic?
:P
Well, it was expected to improve and I knew it wouldn't :)! Infact, people are going to start complaining about drive-time to the new place - even for domestic flights!! Goes on to prove - 'no prior planning whatsoever'!
Next time i land in bangalore , finally i will reach home sooner yipppeeeeeeeee :) and avoid the airport road and mg road traffic..
Heh! You remember Ram from Electronics batch? He shares your feelings about the airport being closer to Yelahanka :).
